The dogs other trainers turned down
One trainer. One dog at a time. Behavior work for the cases that have already been somewhere else.
The difference
Your program ends when your dog is ready.
Not when the calendar says so. If your dog needs longer, it stays longer, and you are not charged for the extra time.
He also explained that his services are not based on a specific amount of days, but on when the dog has mastered the skills.
Programs
Four programs. One trainer.

Basic Obedience Board and Train
For puppies and young dogs with no behavioral problems yet. Three to four weeks to put every on leash essential in place before anything has a chance to go wrong.

Advanced Obedience Board and Train
For the dog who knows the words but only listens when it suits them. Obedience that holds up in public, off leash.

Aggression and Reactivity Rehabilitation
Lunging, barking, snapping, resource guarding, bite history. This is the work I started In Line K9 to do.

Private Sessions
For owners who would rather keep their dog at home and do the work themselves, with me coaching. Also available alongside any board and train.

The work
Half of this business is behavior cases.
Twenty six of the fifty four reviews on Google describe reactivity, aggression, anxiety, or a bite. It is not a sideline here, it is the main thing.

After getting Scooby back, I can finally say I can breathe. We can be a happy little family again.
The process
Five steps.
-
01
A phone call, free
You tell me what is going on. I tell you what is driving it and whether I am the right person for it. Nothing gets booked on this call.
-
02
An in person evaluation
I meet your dog. You get my read, the plan, and the number, before you commit to anything.
-
03
Your dog lives and trains with me
One trainer, hands on, every day. Photos and videos of the real work while it happens.
-
04
Three to five sessions training you
Not optional. A trained dog handed to an untrained owner unravels in a month. We go longer if you need longer.
-
05
I stay on the hook
Advanced Obedience and behavior programs carry a lifetime training guarantee. Basic Obedience includes a month of additional sessions if you need them. Either way, call me.

Selective
Who this is not for.
I would rather lose the job on the phone than disappoint you six weeks later.
- You want a two week quick fixMost programs run four to six weeks. Behavior does not move faster than that.
- You want to drop the dog off and not participateThree to five sessions coaching you are part of every program.
- You are not open to changing anything at homeSometimes the fix involves diet, management, or handling. If none of that is on the table, I am the wrong call.
- You want protection or bite sport workNot what I do. I will send you to the right person.
- You want the cheapest option in San DiegoI am not it.

We had used three other trainers and were close to giving up after our dog nipped a friend.
The great thing about in line K9 is their life time warranty. Even after your session is over they continue to work with you throughout your pets life.

He immediately made a stressful situation feel manageable.
He also takes the time to teach the owner which is HUGE.
I have a 4 year old Dachshund who had some serious reactivity and aggression.
Aaron didn’t just train Finley, he trained us.
This program has really given him the confidence he needed in order to live up to his full potential.
Thank you Aaron for helping bring peace to our home.
